A question worth asking early

What RAVO keeps, and what it never does.

A screen that listens in a public place raises a fair question before anything else. Here is what RAVO records, what it does not, and where it all sits.

At the physical screen

Voice is processed to answer now.

It is not recorded, retained or stored. RAVO itself uses no camera; audience analytics through DisplayPulse is a separate product decision.

Momentary voice processing

Example data guide: these preview statements follow the documented data treatment. Provider terms, account separation, sub-processors and lawful basis remain written pre-deployment questions rather than implied assurances.

What procurement asks

The questions, and where each one is answered.

  • Who is the data controller?

Your business is the data controller. RAVO processes the information on your behalf, under your instructions.
  • How long is anything kept?

Transcripts are kept without personal data while your account is active, and summarised after twelve months. Minimised analytics remain while the account is active.
  • Where is it processed and stored?

A data centre in the European Union, operated to GDPR requirements.
  • Is voice recorded?

Voice is processed to answer in the moment. It is not recorded, retained or stored.
  • Is there a camera, and can it recognise faces?

RAVO uses no camera. DisplayPulse audience analytics is a separate product and camera decision.
  • Who holds the certifications?

LamasaTech holds ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 9001:2015. These are company certifications, not a separate certification of the RAVO product.
  • Is our data used to train a model?

Provided in writing before deployment, with the provider terms behind it.
  • How is our account separated from other customers?

    Provided in writing before deployment.
  • Who are the sub-processors?

    Provided in writing before deployment.
  • What is the lawful basis for a screen in a public space?

Provided in writing before deployment, alongside the agreement.
  • Can we see the data processing agreement?

Yes. A data processing agreement is supplied before deployment. Ask for it at any point.
